Associação de Capoeira Cordão de Contas have teamed up with youthful, vibrant, caring corporations, organizations and brands which each year run creative campaigns, sales and year-round special events.

We are dependent on financial and ex-deal support from caring individuals, companies & organizations to be able to continue teaching pro bono at orphanages & social projects. We are presently teaching Capoeira free of charge at 1) Bonita Home for Girls in Talamban; 2) Community Scouts and Youth Guidance Center;3) Rise Above Foundation's community center/library in Guadalupe. Associação de Capoeira Cordão de Contas is looking for partnerships with those who would like to add to their brand image through the exciting, lively, energetic, visually stimulating art of Capoeira.

Since our official opening on October 4, 2007, we have established ourselves as a valuable cultural resource hosting several events and huge festivals related to Brazilian culture and Capoeira, which received a lot of media exposure.

Our plans become a reality through generous contributions from our individual and corporate sponsors. Their contributions are a key source of funding for our batizado & cultural activities.

Associação de Capoeira Cordão de Contas is very active within its community. In the first months since the opening of the Capoeira Martial Arts Academy we have not pursued public exposure, but even so, we have already received much media attention. Professor Jensen and the Associação de Capoeira Cordão de Contas team have already performed in a few public performances: featured on shows for GMA7, ABS-CBN a number of times, and in some newspapers / magazines: Bite MAGAZINE, Sun Star, Zee Lifestyle, etc. We have so many more plans for our academy and we want you all to be a part of this development.

INDIVIDUAL SPONSORSHIP
We welcome individual donations at all levels to help support the ONLY capoeira academy in Cebu and to continue to provide public access to Brazilian arts. During the year we organize several events to this aim.
